The battery indicator warning light is located on the top left of the instrument panel between the ammeter and fuel gauges. When the starter switch is turned to the on position before the engine is started, the light should glow brightly; if the light doesn't glow, the alternator will not charge. When the engine is running, the light should go out. If the light doesn't go out, it indicates the alternator isn't charging the battery.
